Project Manager - Mechanical Engineering | Fabrication & Manufacturing We are currently hiring a Project Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background and excellent communication skills to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in overseeing projects from concept through completion—working directly with clients, engineers, CAD designers, fabricators, welders, and shop personnel to ensure high-quality results, on time and within scope.   • Manage and coordinate all phases of mechanical fabrication projects from design to delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers and CAD designers to ensure technical accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Interface daily with fabricators, welders, and shop supervisors to monitor production progress and resolve issues.
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and material procurement; identify and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct client meetings, design reviews, and status updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across departments to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Assist with quality control, documentation, and final inspection of completed projects. Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in project management, mechanical fabrication, or a manufacturing setting
  • CAD experience required - SolidWorks preferred, but any CAD software experience is acceptable (training provided)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and engineering specs
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Prior experience in a metal fabrication or custom manufacturing setting
