be/Z8KximAKZ6A Essential Responsibilities Assemble mechanical systems, equipment, and training products according to engineering specifications Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy Perform testing and verification of completed assemblies Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations Follow established safety, quality, and housekeeping standards Support continuous improvement efforts Higher-level technicians may assist with training, mentoring, and complex assembly tasks Qualifications Level 2 4+ years of mechanical assembly or equivalent hands-on experience Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience using hand and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience using precision measuring tools High school diploma or equivalent Level 3 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience Advanced blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently on complex assemblies Proven track record of quality workmanship and productivity Level 4 7+ years of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent expertise Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems and assembly processes Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues with minimal supervision Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or training abilities Serves as a technical resource for the assembly team Additonal Skills Commitment to safety and quality Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment About Amatrol Amatrol is a global leader in technical education and workforce development.
