The role also requires travel to industrial power plants, mainly in regions such as Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, where you work in loud, dirty, and highly industrial settings. You spend time in a valve shop as well as in the field during outages and maintenance periods. Work hours are flexible, with typical days running from approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and extended 12-hour shifts during outages. Some weekend on-call work is required.
