Mechanic Position:

The ideal candidate pays attention to detail, has a technical understanding of how machines work, and shows initiative and a willingness to be proactive in this position. Main responsibility will be upkeep and preventative maintenance of our machines and equipment while also taking a role in the maintenance of the overall facilities as well.

Maintenance mechanic job duties:

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor system, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. The right candidate will have at least three years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry.
