We convert flexible materials for customers in the medical, automotive, consumer goods, industrial, packaging, furniture, and bedding industries. Rogers Foam continually expands its capabilities as markets change and material innovation creates new advances and applications.
Duties:
- Design and fabricate various molds, fixtures, and machines to aid the production and manufacturing of engineered foam products.
- Utilize CAD software to produce designs and engineering drawings for the on-site machine shop.
- Utilize CAM software and the CNC machines available to produce prototypes and samples for customers. Skills Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Required
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Solidworks is required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / blueprints is required.
- A strong understanding of machine components and their applications is required.
- Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software is preferred.
- Experience working with 3 axis machining centers and lathes, is preferred.
- Knowledge of precision measuring devices used to ensure product quality & accuracy is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and control cabinet assembly is preferred.
- Metal fabrication skills using welders, saws, and grinding equipment is preferred.
