Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems across our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Shift:
1st
Shift Role Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanic is the primary responder for mechanical failures, preventive maintenance, and large-scale equipment upgrades on heavy manufacturing lines, such as Abbey Etna tube mills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilding of heavy industrial machinery, gearboxes, and power transmission components. Maintain and upgrade industrial fluid systems, including the integration of magnetic filtration systems (e.g., Zero Gravity Maggie) into the coolant loops. Manage fluid levels and system health using synthetic industrial coolants (e.g., AMCOL). Assist in heavy rigging and the installation of new equipment for phased mill upgrades. Perform structural steel fabrication, welding, and mechanical alignments.
Requirements:
Strong background in heavy mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, and preventative maintenance. Experience with diesel/heavy engine mechanics or hydraulic/pneumatic systems is highly preferred. Ability to read complex mechanical schematics and troubleshoot under pressure.
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
