Compensation and Logistics Rate:

$34 per hour. This is a contract-based position requiring full-time travel across the United States within industrial manufacturing settings. You must be prepared to work 10 to 12-hour shifts, including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with additional hours available as overtime. Role Overview In this position, you will serve as an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician, acting as the vital link between mechanical operations and electrical control systems. Your primary focus will be diagnosing and repairing complex issues involving PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and controls to minimize downtime and restore production efficiency. Core Responsibilities Conduct maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on various mechanical and electrical manufacturing machinery. Identify and rectify malfunctions within 480v 3-phase motors, PLC logic, mechanical assemblies, and fluid power systems. Execute advanced-level machine diagnostics to ensure high-performance equipment standards. Provide technical support to production teams by maintaining conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls. Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence to keep equipment running smoothly for the entire facility. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is mandatory. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot PLC inputs, outputs, and perform program modifications. Practical experience utilizing HMI software such as FactoryTalk. Technical proficiency with solenoids, photo eyes, limit switches, and various sensors. Solid understanding of mechanical components including gearboxes, sprockets, chains, and bearings. Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Competency in using multimeters for testing both high and low voltage circuits. Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks such as kneeling, crawling, or standing for long periods. Possession of a current, valid driver's license. Full commitment to 100% travel requirements. Preferred Skills Experience with PLC programming. Proficiency in bending conduit and pulling wire. Capability in welding.
