Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Maintenance Industrial Mechanic Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Conduct electrical diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments to identify faults in electrical systems and high voltage components. Repair or replace faulty parts on equipment such as motors, conveyors, HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial machinery. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and maintenance procedures. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades or modifications and support field service activities when necessary.

Machine Repair:

Fix and maintain injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion machines.

Preventive Maintenance:

Perform scheduled checkups on hydraulic pumps, pneumatic systems, and electrical circuits.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose malfunctions using blueprints, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.

Tooling Changes:

Set up, install, and align molds, dies, and auxiliary equipment.

Process Optimization:

Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to fix product defects like flashing or warping.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures, and maintain clean work areas. Requirements Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical systems. Demonstrated expertise with electrical troubleshooting, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical systems repair. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, welding ( welding if applicable), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including low voltage and high voltage electrical work. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately. Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with equipment troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment using CMMS software. Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and non-technical personnel alike. Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance or industrial mechanic experience preferred; military background is a plus. Must have experience in industrial, manufacturing machine preferred plastic and paper products. Bilingual English and Spanish are a plus.
