Job Description
Magna-Power Electronics, a Flemington, New Jersey based electronics manufacturer, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Production Assembler to join its dedicated world class team. The Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Production Assembler will perform a combination of duties in assembly of final assembly components according to specifications, using hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, and following verbal and tablet instructions. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams. The Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Production Assembler is responsible for: Using hand and power tools to secure assemblies to chassis and connect them using wire harnesses Working in a push line or batch process to combine tasks, reduce tool changes, and effectively maximize labor efforts Using wire splicing and crimping tools to complete various wire harnesses Following established work instructions provided verbally, visually, and following tablet-based work instructions Reading work orders and following bill of materials and bill of operations Assemble electro-mechanical products The education and experience for this position includes: High school diploma or GED Minimum 1-year experience is preferred Good mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math Knowledge in performing crimping, soldering, and assembly is preferred Knowledge and understanding BOMs, assembly drawings and other related manufacturing documents is preferred In addition to competitive compensation, Magna-Power offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Supplemental insurance Flexible spending account (FSA) 401k plan with company match Accrued paid time off Paid sick-time leave Tuition reimbursement Excellent growth opportunities are available for individuals who are willing to learn and develop.
