Position Summary Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a carbon graphite manufacturing environment. The role focuses on equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe workplace. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance. Maintain CNC machines, ovens/furnaces, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and dust collection systems. Repair hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems. Install and align motors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, belts, and chains. Read mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining. Troubleshoot basic electrical controls and work with electricians. Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs. Maintain maintenance records and support equipment upgrades. Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, PPE, and company safety procedures. Qualifications 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and mechanical drives. Heavy manufacturing, machining, metals, or carbon graphite experience preferred. Basic electrical troubleshooting and welding experience is a plus. High School Diploma/GED required. Technical/trade school training preferred. Ability to work independently and safely in a hot, dusty, noisy industrial environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work overtime/emergency call-ins when needed.
