FlexTrades is hiring Hydraulic Technicians for nationwide project-based assignments supporting mechanical rework and hydraulic component installation on completed truck units. This role is well suited for mechanically inclined professionals who are comfortable working with hydraulic hoses, basic hand tools and repetitive production work that requires consistent quality and attention to detail. Position Overview The Hydraulic Technician will perform mechanical rework on completed trucks by removing and reinstalling hydraulic hoses and installing orifice/pin valves between existing hoses and valves. The work requires careful adherence to installation and torque procedures, consistent visual inspection and the ability to complete repetitive tasks efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Remove hydraulic hoses from completed truck units Reinstall hydraulic hoses after required rework Install orifice/pin valves between existing hydraulic hoses and valves Perform mechanical rework on completed trucks Use hand wrenches and other provided hand tools Follow established installation procedures Follow required torque methods and procedures Visually inspect completed hydraulic connections Verify completed work for quality and consistency Perform repetitive tasks efficiently across multiple trucks Follow all required PPE and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to use hand wrenches and basic hand tools Ability to follow work instructions Ability to follow established torque methods Comfortable working around hydraulic components Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining consistent quality Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment Ability to wear required PPE Preferred Qualifications Experience with mechanical assembly Experience performing mechanical repairs Experience completing mechanical rework About FlexTrades FlexTrades is a manufacturing workforce solutions company that deploys skilled tradespeople and technical specialists to worksites across the United States.
