$24 to $32 an hour (based on experience and skills) What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician at ProAmpac Beaverton, you'll be a key part of keeping production running safely and efficiently. This role is focused on rapid response, troubleshooting, and equipment uptime .Responsibilities include:
Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and restoring machines to service as efficiently and safely as possible Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues (motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and controls as applicable) Supporting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems used in production equipment Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day equipment issues on the production floor Completing work orders and prioritizing tasks based on production downtime and urgency Collaborating with production staff to quickly identify and resolve equipment problems Maintaining accurate maintenance records in CMMS or work order systems Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work environment Identifying longer-term improvement opportunities when time allows, but primary focus is keeping equipment running today Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems is a plus 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or equipment repair Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting Ability to diagnose and repair equipment quickly in a production environment Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, and industrial machinery preferred Exposure to PLCs or automated systems is a plus, but not required and not a primary focus of the role Experience with CMMS or work order systems preferred Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on urgency and practical solutions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive maintenance environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (standing, bending, climbing, etc.) Strong teamwork mindset with a safety-first attitude Why Choose ProAmpac?
