Pay:
$27/hour + DOE (and Weld Test for welding applicants)Day Shift Available:
6am-2:30pmMonday-Friday Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and/orassemble metal structures and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate welding equipment to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Perform various welding and fitting to product large moving equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal pieces
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Skills:
For Welder/Fitter Applicants:
Proficient in Flux Core welding with 0.52, 1/16th, 3/32 Knowledge of welding symbols Fitting experience Blueprint experience Shop math skills; measurement, decimals, fractions
For Mechanics Applicants:
Proficient in Blueprint Reading and Mechanical Assembly/Repair Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift 75lbsNote:
