Production Mechanic 3 ALMAC Group life insurance, 401(k) United States, Pennsylvania, Audubon Jul 24, 2026 Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Mechanic Level III for our Audubon, PA location. The Production Mechanic III position is responsible for performing functions as designated in the job descriptions for production mechanic II role in addition to performing major troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of production equipment. The employee will be required to perform assigned functions within primary packaging rooms (exposed product), and secondary packaging rooms (no exposed product) when required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform major troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of production equipment. Perform equipment setup (including tooling installation) roll changes, clear jams, equipment challenges, and teardowns. Pull and verify equipment reports Perform equipment preventative maintenance in line with designated job cards. Operation of primary and secondary production equipment in accordance with SOPs when required Perform cleaning of product contact parts per defined cleaning procedures.
Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education:
  • Mechanical/Electrical degree or training
  • Technical or Trade School Degree
Required Work Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as production mechanic, operator or set-up person in a manufacturing company
  • At least 2 years performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Pharmaceutical packaging or similar GMP experience.
  • General industrial mechanics, electrical troubleshooting on production equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed Preferred experience: Electrical wiring and controls experience.
Pneumatics and hydraulics experience Vision inspection system experience Blister forming experience Bottle filling experience. PLC Programming and troubleshooting. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls.
Required Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
  • Understand the use of hand and power tools, machine tools, and measuring instruments
Preferred Knowledge:
