Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this vital role, you will manages and/or performs all tasks related to Preventive and Reactive Maintenance within the shop facility as further detailed below

Roles and Responsibilities Maintenance:

Manage and execute the facility's preventive maintenance program Maintain maintenance records and documentation Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment including air compressors, abrasive blasting equipment, forklifts, boilers, autoclaves, paint booths, etc.. This is a hands-on role with autonomy, ideal for a mechanic who enjoys solving equipment problems and improving plant operations. Coordinate maintenance subcontractors, including electricians, boiler repair contractors and inspectors. Address all maintenance-related problems in order of priority to keep production running Formulate solutions that are the longest lasting solutions at the lowest possible cost (this will not always be the quickest or easiest solution). Identify and implement improvements that increase plant efficiency and reliability Issue purchase orders for necessary parts Ability to read schematics, blueprints and diagrams for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Assist with facility upkeep including but not limited to snow removal, when necessary, grounds cleanup, building repairs Qualifications and Educational Requirements A minimum of 5 years Industrial maintenance required and verifiable High School Diploma or educational equivalent (GED) preferred Experience using power tools is required Basic computer skills required (MS office, email, spread sheet data entry) Must work well in a team environment, as well as independently Must be professional and have a good work ethic Must be well-organized and have good housekeeping skills Possess good problem-solving skills Forklift experience required Ability to meet or exceed the Company's attendance and punctuality standards Reliable transportation is required Physical Demands Some lifting required (5-50 lbs.) Ability to climb ladders Ability to work in confined spaces without claustrophobia Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, standing for prolonged periods and walking as job requires Environmental Conditions Extreme heat or cold Noise level, which may at times require hearing protection (earplugs or other means) Heights Electricity Exposure to chemicals and solvents Arbonite is an EEO employer -
