Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will ensure continuous production, safety, and efficiency by troubleshooting complex electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment upgrades. Responsibilities Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of industrial machinery and systems using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments Maintain and repair electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, relays, sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control panels Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical components using engineering troubleshooting techniques Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory Support equipment upgrades and installations by collaborating with engineering teams and providing technical guidance on electrical systems Operate industrial tools including welding (stick welding), scissors lifts, and other machinery safely following safety protocols Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical maintenance, working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with production teams regarding maintenance schedules and repairs Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on industrial electrical maintenance Strong knowledge of electrical systems including schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading skills Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is highly desirable Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics Ability to perform equipment troubleshooting and repair on industrial machinery including welding repairs using stick welding techniques Knowledge of industrial mechanic practices combined with mechanical knowledge of machinery components Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of electrical issues quickly and efficiently Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a vibrant manufacturing setting.
