We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team. The Process Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing process equipment to ensure reliable operation, maximum equipment uptime, and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) , including diffusion furnace and chamber cleans, as well as other required maintenance activities. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair process equipment involving electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems . Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, installation, and equipment adjustments as required. Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities in electronic maintenance tracking systems on a daily basis. Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with reviewing and updating procedures when necessary. Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve equipment performance, reliability, efficiency, and availability. Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements that support production goals. Maintain 5S standards and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all applicable safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong technical background with demonstrated mechanical maintenance experience , including proper bolting and torque procedures. Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and basic electrical systems. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate basic leadership skills when supporting aggressive production goals and timelines. Ability to perform moderate data analysis and use data to support troubleshooting and equipment improvements. Ability to safely lift and handle items weighing more than 50 lbs. Ability to stand and work for approximately 11 hours per day . Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience:
Semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly preferred , particularly experience with: Kokusai and TEL diffusion furnaces AMAT mainframes equipped with RTP and EPI chambers TEL Trias platforms with SPA chambers Semiconductor process equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Education, Training & Certifications:
Associate degree or higher in a technical field or related discipline is required. Relevant technical training, certifications, or hands-on semiconductor equipment experience are highly desirable.
