Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Dallas, TX | Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing industrial recycling and material processing facility in the Dallas area. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to maximize uptime in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, chains, and other mechanical systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical failures to minimize production downtime. Maintain conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and material handling systems. Weld and fabricate components as needed to support equipment repairs. Replace belts, pulleys, shafts, sprockets, and mechanical drive components. Conduct routine equipment inspections and document maintenance activities. Work closely with operations to improve equipment reliability and plant performance. Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures. Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, recycling, distribution, aggregate, steel, paper, food processing, or similar industrial facility. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience maintaining conveyor systems and material handling equipment. Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, chains, and mechanical power transmission. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals. Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
