Job Description

Role Overview:
Responsible for managing store operations, staff, and processes to ensure efficient functioning, sales, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to labor laws. Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and recommend pay or advancement opportunities. Communicate expectations on performance, conduct, safety, and policies; lead regular meetings. Oversee daily store opening and closing, including personal involvement at least twice weekly. Analyze financial statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage. Manage inventory through ordering, cycle counts, and stock presentation, ensuring product availability and proper merchandising. Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages, markdowns, and ensure proper signage and fixture use. Ensure cash handling accuracy, security, and operational integrity, including cashier accountability and key controls. Lead customer service initiatives, maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and complete all documentation timely.
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to interpret documents, perform basic math, and handle cash procedures. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety controls. Effective communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bilingual skills may be advantageous.
Physical & Working Conditions:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds. Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts. Occasional outside weather exposure and travel for deposits or meetings. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise level.
