Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Multi-Craft (Levels 1-2) HandCraft Linen and Uniform Services - 3.0 Richmond, VA Job Details Full-time $22.38 - $27.38 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Forklift High school diploma or GED Scissor lift Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Multi-Craft (Levels 1-2) Based in: Richmond, VA Hourly range: $22.38-$27.38 with excellent benefits Work pattern: 4 ten-hour shifts (40 hours/week) with early AM or early PM starts; weekend/holiday coverage may be required Our mission Keep the plant running—safely, efficiently, and reliably. As a Level 1-2 multi-craft mechanic, you'll blend mechanical know-how with electrical fundamentals to protect uptime and elevate performance. Imagine stepping onto the floor, locking out a line, finding the root cause of an electrical fault, fabricating a quick fix, mentoring a teammate, and handing back a stable machine to production—all in the same shift.
Key responsibilities Champion safety:
follow protocols, recognize hazards, and drive corrective actions.
Execute PMs:
conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance on critical assets.
Diagnose and repair:
resolve mechanical and electrical issues swiftly and effectively. Partner with Operations to sustain and improve OEE.
Document work thoroughly:
repairs, inspections, and preventive tasks. Collaborate across shifts and teams; share expertise and provide technical support. Coach junior technicians to build bench strength. Perform other duties as assigned.
