Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, HVAC systems, and precision measuring instruments. The Mechanical Technician will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates with a background in industrial electrician experience, military service, or technical sales are encouraged to apply. 6:00AM - 3:30PM Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters Maintain and update maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Repair or replace components including high voltage electrical parts, low voltage controls, and HVAC/R systems Conduct inspections of machinery to identify potential failures or safety hazards Assist with field service activities and support manufacturing operations during production shifts Utilize field tools such as scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely and effectively Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs and installations Support technical sales teams by providing expertise on mechanical systems when needed Skills Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding), and schematics interpretation Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely Familiarity with analysis tools for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues Excellent mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance procedures Strong customer service orientation when collaborating with internal teams or external clients Effective communication skills in English for documentation and teamwork purposes Experience working in military environments or with industrial electrician backgrounds is a plus This position offers an engaging environment for technically skilled professionals eager to maintain complex machinery while supporting manufacturing excellence.
