Vancouver, WA Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Assembly Mechanics II to join our team in Vancouver, WA. This position is ideal for mechanics, millwrights, and other highly mechanically skilled professionals with experience in marine repair, maintenance, new construction, manufacturing, industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, farm equipment, or similar environments. The Assembly Mechanic II will be responsible for the installation and assembly of integrated mechanical systems and components, including engines, drives, HVAC systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression systems, and other equipment. Responsibilities Install and assemble integrated mechanical system components. Work from engineering drawings, specifications, and established procedures. Install and work with engines, drives, HVAC, fuel, hydraulic, and fire suppression systems. Perform mechanical assembly and equipment installation accurately and safely. Use hand tools and personal mechanic tools to complete assigned work. Follow engineering drawings and procedures to ensure proper installation. Work safely from ladders and scaffolding when required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety and quality requirements. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of mechanical/assembly experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Ability to carefully follow technical procedures and installation instructions. Experience with hydraulics and piping is a plus. Familiarity with machining is a plus. Background in marine, industrial, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, millwright, or similar mechanical environments preferred. Must provide your own set of mechanic tools. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb. Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding. Work may be performed in hot, cold, dusty, and indoor environments . Employment Requirements Pre-employment background check and drug test required. Position requires the use of PPE.
