OBJECTIVE
The Production Mechanical Assembler will assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications while maintaining quality standards and meeting established takt time and production goals in a manufacturing environment.
JOB DUTIES
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Assemble products efficiently while meeting established takt time and daily production targets without compromising quality. Utilize hand tools such as handheld screwdrivers and drill guns. Perform soldering by joining metal components using solder according to work instructions and quality standards. Maintain inventory of materials and components at workstations. Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer specifications. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are found. Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Accurately record production data and complete required documentation. Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve productivity and maintain workflow.
REQUIREMENTS
Good attendance is an absolute must! 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience Physically be able to lift 30-50lbs Regularly perform repetitive tasks Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately Basic computer skills Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem High attention to detail and self-motivation skills Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required Ability to pass a Sub assembly build test Specific vision abilities required to include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, & focus SmartTalent Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. #STHMG #
