This role involves supporting the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of specialized equipment used in hazardous waste handling and disposal processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, technical aptitude, and a commitment to safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

Assist experienced mechanics in performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment Support troubleshooting efforts for electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals Operate and maintain tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments to diagnose issues Help with equipment repairs including welding (stick welding), electrical system repairs, and component replacements Conduct safety checks on equipment such as scissor lifts and HVAC/R systems to ensure compliance with safety protocols Assist in the calibration and testing of industrial machinery to meet operational specifications Support the setup and disassembly of complex systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Participate in troubleshooting electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical diagnostics Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards

Requirements:

Prior experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments preferred A Hazwoper Certification - Hazardous Waste Certification 40HRS. Knowledge of industrial mechanic practices including equipment troubleshooting and repair Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management Basic understanding of HVAC systems, HVAC/R components, and electrical systems Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately Hands-on experience with welding techniques such as stick welding Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low/high voltage testers Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and effectively Good communication skills in English for reporting issues clearly and following instructions precisely Industrial electrician experience or related technical training is advantageous If you are committed to safety, possess strong technical skills, and are eager to contribute to environmental protection efforts through reliable equipment maintenance, we encourage you to apply today.
