Essential Job FunctionsEnsure food safety and qualityPerform safety analyses and acquire proper permits before completing tasksTune and operate natural gas boilersTroubleshoot mechanical issuesPerform preventative maintenance according to pm schedulesAssemble hammer millsSetup and tear down of production equipmentAssemble tape machine and scalesRemove, replace, or install equipmentComplete work order documentationUse of hand and power toolsUse of computer programs for maintenance reporting and parts ordering/inventory managementAssist with creation of PM system and program implementation and updatesWork towards the goals and expectations of the plant and this positionOther duties as assigned by the plant managerQualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety proceduresExhibit regular and prompt attendanceLearn and exhibit safe powered industrial truck operations including forklift, scissors lift and areal lift equipment.

Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) and lift up to 55 lbs. unassistedMaintain accurate record keepingAble to work with various computer systems including creating, updating, and completing work orders in PM system.
