Our client is seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper to assist with general facility upkeep, basic maintenance, equipment support, and grounds maintenance. The Maintenance Helper will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians to keep the facility clean, safe, organized, and operating efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical mindset who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build their maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with routine building and facility maintenance.

Perform general cleaning, trash removal, and basic groundskeeping.

Help with minor mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks.

Conduct routine equipment inspections and report issues to senior technicians.

Assist with troubleshooting basic equipment or system problems.

Move equipment, parts, tools, and supplies throughout the facility safely.

Use hand tools and warehouse equipment as needed to complete maintenance tasks.

Assist senior maintenance technicians with repairs, renovations, installations, and other projects.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance guidelines.

Report safety hazards, equipment problems, or facility issues to management.

Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous maintenance, mechanical, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience is preferred.

Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and identify equipment issues.

Comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

Ability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment and materials.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team.

Ability to follow instructions and work under the direction of senior maintenance personnel.
