Yard Helper Universal Waste Systems - 3.5 Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Occupational safety regulation compliance Removing debris Outdoor work Safety regulations Maintenance work Groundskeeping Car wash Clean workspace maintenance Entry level Full Job Description Description The primary responsibility of the Yard Helper is to support the Operations and Maintenance Departments by performing general maintenance duties. Essential Responsibilities 1. Ensure that the yard and office are clean of debris and hazards. 2. Wash and detail trucks and vehicles. 3. Wash and detail collection bins and carts. 4. Wire brush and paint bins. 5. Participate in external, Department and Company-wide trainings to increase skill sets and improve service.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of:
General practices and principles of custodial work. General practices and principles of truck washing and maintenance. Federal, state and local job site health and safety rules, regulations and best practices.
Ability to:
Maintain a positive attitude with coworkers. Proactively establish trust and credibility with coworkers by maintaining accountability. Contribute to the team dynamic by promoting inclusion, support and collaboration amongst coworkers. Take initiative, self-manage time and productivity through multitasking. Effectively and concisely communicate. Think independently and creatively to problem solve. Education, Training & Experience 1. Prior experience preforming general labor preferred. 2.
