The purpose of this position is to provide routine cleaning and custodian services throughout City buildings. This may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, dusting, light maintenance, changing light bulbs, changing air filters, washing windows inside around buildings as well as picking up papers and/or debris. It may also include disinfecting and cleaning restrooms, dusting, polishing, and waxing furniture, emptying trash, washing and cleaning walls, windows, and vents; and, performs related work as assigned Qualifications One year of related experience in assigned area of responsibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution highly desired. Work may include weekends and evenings/nights and participating in rotating on-call duties. Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License.
