Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction and Maintenance Worker to maintain, repair, and upgrade our assisted living facilities. In this role, you will handle constructions projects, facility remodeling, and general maintenance to insure a safe, functional, and beautiful environment for our residents. Because you will work directly in resident living spaces, a respectful attitude, patience, and strong communication skills are required. Responsibilities Perform construction including drywall repair, framing, painting, and flooring installation. Complete facility repairs across carpentry, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systems Conduct inspections and ensure safety compliance by keeping walkways clear, fixing trip hazards, amd maintaining handrails. Respond to work orders promptly and Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications Skills:

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic blueprint or layout reading.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods, and work in beautiful Redding extreme heat. Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC operations. Experience with logic controllers is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
