Job Overview Prime Tech Cabinets is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and properly functioning facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for general facility cleaning, upkeep, and basic maintenance throughout the office, production shop, warehouse, restrooms, break rooms, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable performing a variety of hands-on tasks, can work independently, and is able to identify and address maintenance or cleanliness issues before they become larger problems. This position requires someone who is reliable, flexible, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a busy cabinet manufacturing environment. Duties Maintain cleanliness and general condition of the office, production shop, warehouse, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling from designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures. Replenish restroom and break room supplies as needed. Clean and maintain break rooms, tables, counters, sinks, refrigerators, and common areas. Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, doors, windows, and other areas as needed. Maintain clean and organized shop and warehouse areas. Clean up spills, debris, and other workplace messes promptly. Perform basic facility maintenance and repairs as assigned. Assist with minor repairs, adjustments, installations, and general upkeep around the facility. Replace light bulbs, filters, fixtures, and other basic facility items as needed. Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, door, and fixture repairs when qualified. Inspect the facility and report maintenance issues, damage, leaks, safety hazards, or equipment problems to management. Help maintain entrances, walkways, parking areas, and other exterior areas. Perform preventative maintenance and routine facility inspections. Maintain and organize maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment. Monitor cleaning and maintenance supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered. Properly use and maintain hand tools, cleaning equipment, and maintenance equipment. Follow proper procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and maintenance materials. Assist with moving, setting up, or rearranging equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies as needed. Assist with special cleaning, maintenance, and facility projects. Coordinate with management or outside vendors when repairs require specialized work. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other maintenance, cleaning, and facility-related duties as assigned. Requirements Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial, facilities, construction, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of general building and facility maintenance. Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks. Ability to safely use common hand tools and maintenance equipment. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail. Reliable and dependable attendance. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance and cleaning tasks. Ability to identify maintenance issues and communicate them to management. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and production environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day. Ability to lift and move supplies, tools, and equipment as required. Basic understanding of workplace safety practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
