Job Description
SkillSet Group is seeking entry-level Maintenance Technician Assistants to work in the Torrance area. This position will support the maintenance team in an aerospace manufacturing and machine-shop environment. Responsibilities include helping change oil in machines, removing metal chips and shavings, cleaning equipment, moving materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. No previous maintenance experience is required, but candidates must be comfortable using basic hand tools, performing heavy lifting, and standing for 10-hour shifts. This is a 1st-shift position working Monday through Thursday from 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM, It is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately two to three months.
