POSITION SUMMARY
To supervise the Maintenance Department for maintenance support for all Plant departments. Develop and motivate maintenance staff using teamwork and employee involvement principles and techniques to provide superior repair and preventative maintenance service on all plant equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following and other duties as assigned: Supervise preventative maintenance tasks. Coordinate, direct and supervise maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment. Supports the work orders process and ensures timely completion to highest quality standards. Schedule staff for maximum efficiency and coverage. Assist/support with record keeping and preventative and predictive maintenance program including input of the data stream computerized maintenance management system. Provide equipment recommendations along with applicable design and layout. Directs workers engaged in painting and performing structural repairs for facility and equipment. Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Supports Maintenance Manager with production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving problems. Partners with other departments to coordinate activities of individual departments. Performs Maintenance activities when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
High school education 3
•5 years experience in manufacturing or equal experience in a related position 2 years experience in a Supervisor/Foreman position preferred Be able to work independently or in a team environment Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects at the same time Strong organizing skills and ability to meet deadlines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to withstand prolonged walking and standing Able to withstand changes in temperature

KNOWLEDGE OF / SKILL IN
Qualified candidates will have good oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with key coworkers, including department managers, line operators, quality assurance personnel and contractors. Company policies, standards, and specifications Safety policies and procedures for equipment operation Proper use of the tools of the trade Knowledge of mechanical and ammonia systems. Position requires demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and PC interface automated systems. Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to effectively motivate in a team environment using employee involvement techniques gained through experience in relevant supervisory or managerial position.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
