Hours will taper down and may experience some call outs for weather or work load. This late-season position is not for those needing guaranteed hours each week. Our season starts March 1st as weather allows, gets busier through summer, than tapers back down, typically concluding around Thanksgiving. Employees may be offered an opportunity to return the following season. Hiring those who are available 20 - 39 hours/week. We don't work weekends unless we've had inclement weather during the week. Our gardeners perform any necessary tasks related to planting and maintaining residential gardens, rather than heavy landscaping, so detail and a commitment to increasing plant knowledge and attention to detail is a must. Crew members drive to customers home to care for their gardens. Preferred applicants will have relevant gardening experience. Must be dependable and understand that when a position is offered, you are committing to being available for the agreed upon schedule, and attendance and punctuality are required. Capable of working independently or with a team depending on project. Strong communication skills. If an offer is made, you will start as a Temp until you have worked a total of 30 billable hours. This is a probationary period including training, to be paid at $16/hour.
