Position Summary... What you'll do...
Walmart. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00•The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. What you'll do: Operate and maintain heavy machinery and power tools to perform exterior facility services, including landscaping and snow removal. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Walmart safety and environmental policies during all operations. Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to maintain safe, clean, and functional exterior environments. Manage budgets, approve purchases, and coordinate equipment sourcing to control costs and support facility needs. Lead and coach third-party providers, fostering professional growth and ensuring service standards are met. Maintain vehicles, perform basic mechanical upkeep, and ensure proper documentation and safety checks. Communicate effectively with facility users to address concerns and support event requirements. What you'll bring: Proven experience operating heavy machinery and power tools in a facility services or exterior maintenance environment. Knowledge of landscaping practices, including maintenance and seasonal exterior activities such as snow and ice management. Ability to perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Strong skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing customer service to meet facility needs. Capability to manage equipment maintenance, inventory control, and cost-effective sourcing of parts and supplies.
