We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of facility and equipment issues across manufacturing and residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience with facilities maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The Maintenance Worker will also oversee small projects, supervise junior staff when necessary, and contribute to the overall upkeep of our facilities. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify root causes. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and utilize electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software. Supervise or assist in small-scale projects and oversee safety protocols during all maintenance activities. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, and general upkeep to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with manufacturing teams or residential clients to provide excellent customer service and support. Follow schematics and mechanical drawings to perform precise repairs or installations. Lead or supervise junior team members in maintenance tasks when required. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential environments. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential. Hands-on welding skills and residential painting experience are preferred. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS systems is highly desirable. Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is a plus. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination. Prior customer service experience is beneficial for interacting with clients or internal stakeholders.
