Hourly/Nonexempt Overview St. Joseph School is looking for a Full-time Maintenance Associate who will work with the maintenance staff to complete all aspects of maintenance for school and parish buildings and property. Job Responsibilities Perform daily checks of the buildings and grounds to ensure trash/debris is picked up from common areas and grounds ensuring the area is presentable and always inviting. General maintenance/carpentry of walls, doors, windows, carpet, tile, caulk, and paint where needed. Set up for events and meetings. Secure all buildings on campus at the end of the day.

Electrical:

perform all minor repairs such as outlets, switches, light bulbs, and fixtures.

Air Conditioning:

replace belts, filters and thermostats as needed.

Plumbing:

repair minor water leaks, replace faucets, open drains as needed. Custodial duties as needed throughout the day. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, staff & parishioners. Working knowledge of building equipment. Understanding of safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste items. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach throughout day. Valid drivers license. Must pass background check, including Fingerprint (FDLE Level 2). Must pass a post offer DOV assigned physical exam.
