Permanent Full Time/Part Time:

Full Time Open Until Filled. $17.52 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Cocoa/UF/IFAS Brevard Extension Office. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and may include morning hours and weekends as needed. Performs entry level service work maintaining and making simple repairs to County grounds, buildings, and Extension Service facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

No formal training or experience required. Experience in the safe and efficient use of hand and power-operated equipment is preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level 1 criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (as defined in AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster, which may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
