Job Description

Job Summary:
Southfork, a well-maintained and welcoming 55+ manufactured home community, is seeking a reliable part-time Maintenance Worker to help keep our community looking great, 28 hours a week. This role involves general upkeep, handyman repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on community buildings, common areas, and amenities. Keep landscaping, roads, and grounds clean and well-maintained. Handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman tasks. Inspect and maintain community signage, lighting, and fencing. Ensure pool, clubhouse, and other amenities are in working order and meet safety standards. Assist with trash and debris removal to keep the community clean and presentable. Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner. Monitor and report any safety hazards or necessary repairs to management. Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, such as painting, or storm preparation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 per week
