Based on our government contracts, US Citizenship is required Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment, including vacuums, floor buffers, and sanitation tools. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling safety procedures and maintaining accurate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Build desks, chair, etc as needed Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including residential painting and basic facilities upkeep to ensure a safe environment. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support industrial cleaning projects or commercial cleaning tasks as needed to maintain the integrity of the facility's appearance and hygiene standards. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Skilled in handling cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Strong understanding of chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or exposure. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary. Basic facilities maintenance skills including minor repairs, painting, and troubleshooting common issues. Knowledge of sanitation standards and protocols essential for maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
