We are looking for a skilled, dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts and other equipment, performing painting and equipment restoration, and handling general building and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently to keep our equipment, facility, and grounds safe, functional, and well maintained. Responsibilities Forklift & Equipment Maintenance Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on forklifts and material-handling equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems. Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime. Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Equipment Painting & Restoration Prepare forklifts and other equipment for painting. Clean, sand, scrape, mask, and prepare surfaces as needed. Paint and touch up forklifts, machinery, and other company equipment. Perform minor bodywork and cosmetic repairs. Maintain a professional appearance of company equipment. Building & Facility Maintenance Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility. Repair doors, walls, ceilings, flooring, fixtures, and other building components. Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs as qualified. Maintain lighting, drains, fans, and other facility equipment. Assist with HVAC maintenance and coordinate outside service providers when needed. Perform painting, patching, caulking, pressure washing, and other facility upkeep. Maintain exterior areas, grounds, and general property appearance. Identify maintenance issues and address problems before they become larger repairs. Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Qualifications Previous experience in forklift, industrial equipment, automotive, mechanical, facility, or building maintenance. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems preferred. Painting and surface-preparation experience preferred. General building maintenance experience preferred. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Valid driver's license required. Forklift technician certification or technical training is a plus.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
