Maintenance Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hollywood, Florida. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing interior and exterior surfaces of the facility Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and appliances Assist with building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of tasks Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to management Assist with special projects and events as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required 0-1 year of maintenance experience preferred Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Excellent communication and teamwork skills
