We are looking for a Shop Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible to ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Responsibilities Perform cleaning activities such as collecting trash,mopping etc. Performing preventive maintenance Handling basic repairs and maintenance Repairing equipment as needed Accept deliveries that come in Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Make deliveries to jobs as needed Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Requirements and skills Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches. Basic knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing material Experience using hand and electrical tools Ability to take apart tools, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Very good communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and follow up skills Ability to maintain focus while working individually Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
