hour shifts, Monday - Friday Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance/Paid Sick & Vacation/Paid Holidays Knowledge of general grounds maintenance & landscape practices and procedures. Performs landscape maintenance on various City properties, parks and street medians. Maintains/mows grassy areas using riding or standup mower, small equipment, hand tools and tractors. Ability to perform heavy manual labor under adverse weather conditions. Operates vehicles and light to medium equipment in performing maintenance activities. Performs cleaning and preventative maintenance of various vehicles and equipment. Performs heavy manual labor, such as digging, lifting, placing pipes, laying lines, cleaning and repairs. Performs helper and semi-skilled tasks in construction and maintenance. Performs litter control functions, cleans restrooms, sets up picnic and other areas as assigned. May be assigned to operate heavier equipment on a temporary, emergency or trainee basis.
