Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance professional to join our team in the Educational Services industry. As a Maintenance team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and facilities in our Tavares, Sorrento, Mt Dora and Eustis locations. Your primary goal will be to maintain a clean, safe and efficient environment for our staff and students.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall and HVAC systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving and communication skills must have a valid driver's license with no major traffic violation must be able to pass a LEVEL 2 Background screening for working around small children able to problem solve on fixing or creating items Must be able to take directions from other and work as a team member
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in a related field knowledge in general plumbing, air conditioning, drywall, flooring, hardware repair, and basic electrical,
Responsibilities:
Performing routine maintenance on all equipment and facilities ensuring the safety of the children when working Troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance performed Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols traveling from location to location as needed (vehicle and gas provided)
Skills:
As a Maintenance professional, you will utilize your strong technical skills to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and facilities. You will also use your problem-solving and communication skills to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise. Your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics will be essential in performing routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, your experience with computerized maintenance management systems will be beneficial in maintaining accurate records of all maintenance performed.
