Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves performing general maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for addressing routine building needs, conducting repairs, and supporting landscaping efforts to maintain a well-kept environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic plumbing, electrical work, building skills, and landscaping. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on building structures, fixtures, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections to identify repair needs or potential safety hazards. Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or fixture repairs with basic plumbing skills. Handle electrical repairs including replacing switches, outlets, or troubleshooting electrical problems within safety guidelines. Assist with building-related tasks such as painting, carpentry, or minor renovations as needed. Support landscaping activities including lawn care, planting, trimming, and maintaining outdoor spaces. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and protocols. Keep records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to supervisors promptly. Skills Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical components. Strong building skills including carpentry, painting, and general repair work. Ability to perform routine landscaping tasks effectively. Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Safety-conscious mindset with understanding of proper safety procedures related to maintenance work.
