The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be capable of performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the successful candidate should have a clean driving record and is capable of driving a resident van for trips to/from appointments and the hospital. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently. Document all maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management. Drive a six passenger van for resident appointments, trips to or from the hospital that are non-emergent, as well as maneuver residents in wheelchairs in and out of the van with care Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret schematics. Proficient in electrical systems maintenance and repair. Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with others. Leadership qualities that promote teamwork and collaboration within the maintenance department. Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and management. Clean and safe driving record.
