HomeLife on Glynco is a senior living community in Brunswick, GA looking for a part time Maintenance Technician / Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting our Director of Maintenance with repairs and maintenance of common areas, resident rooms and grounds. Selected individual will also be tasked with transporting our residents for outings and activities in our community van. Must have a clean driving record without moving violations and a current driver's license. Experience with operating a 12 person van with a wheelchair lift is preferred. Qualified candidate must be reliable, honest, detail oriented and enjoy the company of seniors.

Pay:

$15.00-$16.00/Hour Position Summary Performs maintenance tasks within well established guidelines and assigned areas and shift(s) to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met. Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned maintenance tasks according to schedule. Is able to drive residents for appointments or outings when needed. Is able to follow oral instructions, is pleasant, tactful and courteous and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers and residents. Responds to customer preferences, complies with industry and federal and state guidelines, and meets the needs of residents.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Clean driving record Ability to cooperate with co-workers, residents, and facility staff. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. Must be able to be at work as schedule on time.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
