Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our community team. In this role, you will partner with the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Execute established preventative maintenance schedules to properly upkeep community property, equipment, and utilities. Conduct routine system checks, maintain accurate logs (such as water temperature and life safety systems), and perform daily property rounds to identify safety hazards. Perform minor repairs—including painting, carpentry, and plumbing—and quickly prepare resident units for occupancy as vacancies occur. Assist with emergency repairs, larger projects like air conditioning maintenance, and everyday community needs such as cutting keys and room setups. Qualifications Previous hands-on experience working in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general construction. Strong organizational abilities to follow detailed maintenance schedules, complete logs accurately, and manage daily safety checks.
