Makes periodic inspections of facilities to identify needed repairs; monitors the operation of equipment and fixtures. Fabricates partitions, structures and displays using hand and power tools; performs general facility installation, painting, cleaning, maintenance and repair work as required. Performs manual labor required in excavation, clearing, snow removal, construction or grounds maintenance; keeps accurate records of materials used and work performed. Qualifications Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in building or facilities maintenance, construction, or semi-skilled trade such as electrical, carpentry, or plumbing; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the required work in this position. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain throughout duration of employment. Must pass a background check and physical as prescribed by the City of Davenport. Must reside in Iowa or Illinois within two (2) years of hire and maintain residency throughout the duration of employment.
