Facilities Maintenance Helper Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Helper to support the upkeep and smooth operation of our building and equipment. This role involves assisting with routine maintenance tasks, handling hand and power tools, and ensuring the interior spaces are well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have basic maintenance knowledge, familiarity with warehouse machinery, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe and functional environment. Responsibilities Assist with facilities equipment maintenance to ensure all systems operate efficiently. Use hand tools and power tools safely for various maintenance tasks. Perform building interior maintenance, including minor repairs and upkeep of walls, ceilings, and flooring. Support maintenance painting projects to keep interior spaces presentable. Maintain familiarity with conveyors, warehouse machinery, and specialized equipment such as cardboard compression machines. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and complete maintenance requests promptly. Requirements Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with warehouse machinery, conveyors, and specialized equipment like cardboard compression machines is preferred. Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual tasks requiring lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions accurately. Prior experience in building interior maintenance or general facilities support is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
